Ekta Walia Bhullar

huiektaEkta Walia received her Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Kurukshetra University, India in 1995 and both her Masters and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Punjabi University, Patiala, India in 1998 and 2006 respectively. She started her career as software consultant in DCM Datasystems, New Delhi, India. From 1999 onwards, she served many academic and research institutes in India. Very recently, she worked at South Asian University, New Delhi, India as Associate Professor and Chairperson in the Department of Computer Science. In June 2014, she joined the Department of Computer Science, University of Saskatchewan, to work as Professional research associate in DADAISM project. Her research interests include 3D Rendering, Digital Image Watermarking, Content Based Image Retrieval and Face Recognition, using orthogonal radial moments, in particular. She has a number of international journal and conference publications in these research areas. She is reviewer of many reputed international journals and conferences in areas of her research interests.
